Affiliate FAQ

Two steps, both free. First open a ClickBank account at accounts.clickbank.com/signup, because ClickBank takes every order and pays every commission. Then fill in the sign-up form on our affiliate home page with your name, your ClickBank ID and your email address.

Please add affiliates@amazingself.com to your email whitelist before you sign up, so our emails reach your inbox. Next time, log in on the home page with your email address and ClickBank ID.

It is the account nickname you chose when you opened your ClickBank account, and it is the name you log in to ClickBank with. ClickBank also calls it your affiliate ID. It goes in the affiliate= part of your hoplink, and it is how every sale finds its way back to you.

Open the Promotion Links page, type in your ClickBank ID (and a tracking ID if you want one) and it builds your link in this format:

The page saves your link in your browser for seven days, and while it is saved every email, post and banner code in this area shows your own link instead of the sample. Always click your link once to test it before you share it.

A tracking ID is the tid= part of your link. It is optional, it can be up to 100 characters of numbers, lowercase letters and underscores, and only you can see it.

It tells you where each sale came from. If you promote Amazing Self in an email, on your blog and on Facebook, give each one its own tracking ID, such as email1, blog and fb_page, and your ClickBank reports will show which one each sale came through. Then you know where to spend your time.

Your hoplink (type=hp1) goes to the Amazing Self sales page at www.amazingself.com. If you have older links that use the webinar or special report types, they still work and still pay you: those pages have closed, so the link now lands on the sales page.

For cold traffic, such as ads or people who have never heard of you, put one of our presell pages on your own site first. The article presell warms up strangers; the bridge presell reads like a quick note from you to readers who already know you.

You get 60% of the first month, which is about US$22.20 of the $37 price, then 50% of every month the member stays, about US$18.50 a month. You also get 60% on any upsells a member you referred buys. The Commissions page shows how one member adds up over a year if they stay.

Yes, for as long as the member keeps paying. Each time ClickBank bills them for another month, that payment is credited to you automatically and shows in your ClickBank reports. When a member cancels, their payments stop, and so does the recurring commission from them.

ClickBank pays you, not us. Payments follow ClickBank’s own schedule and go out by the payment method you choose in your ClickBank account, so keep your payment and tax details up to date there.

Every member is covered by a 60-day, 100% money-back guarantee. If a member is refunded, ClickBank reverses the commission on the payment that was refunded. Members ask for a refund through the contact page on amazingself.com, so please send any buyer who asks you there.

ClickBank sets a cookie when someone clicks your hoplink, so a reader who comes back later and joins is still credited to you. ClickBank decides the credit under its own rules, and in general the sale goes to the affiliate whose link the buyer clicked most recently. You can check the current cookie length for Amazing Self in your ClickBank account, or ask Andrew, before you plan a long follow-up sequence.

Yes. Paid search, social and native ads on general terms are welcome, as long as the ad sends people to a presell page on your own domain, not straight to the sales page. If you would like your PPC conversion tracking code installed on the Amazing Self website, just email us and ask.

Not without permission. Ask Andrew first before you bid on Amazing Self brand terms, and the same goes for putting the name in an ad’s display URL or headline.

Email only your own opt-in list, the people who asked to hear from you. No unsolicited email and no bought, rented or scraped lists, and every email must comply with CAN-SPAM. Spammers are reported to ClickBank and removed from the program.

Put a short disclosure near your link, for example: “I may earn a commission if you buy through my link, at no extra cost to you.” Our email swipes already include one.

Describe what members really get each month: the Amazing Self Magazine (the first edition is over 140 pages), an Amazing Journey Sessions interview with audio and transcript, and two Abundant Wealth Series videos by Mark Ling, for $37 a month with a 60-day money-back guarantee.

Never promise income, weight loss, a relationship outcome or any other result, and put “results vary” next to any experience of your own. The Rules page has a table of what you can, should be careful with and must never say.

Everything is in this area: email swipes, newsletter and solo ads, social posts, hooks and angles, banners, product images, articles, reviews and a video script, keywords and ads and presell pages. Save your hoplink first and the links inside them become yours.

Yes. If you need something special made, such as a banner size we do not have, an email for a particular audience or material for a promotion you are planning, just ask, and we can most likely whip it up for free. Email Andrew with what you need and where you will use it.
